CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
TANGO BEGINNER I & II
A 12-week complete introduction to Argentine Tango (2 sessions of 6 weeks each)
Student will focus on the basic fundamentals of Argentine Tango, such as body-dynamics, Pivoting, Disassociation, Balance, and Connection.
We will work on developing a well-balanced walk as well as working on combinations of front and back ochos, walking turns, and embellishments. Students will be encouraged to develop navigational skills so that they can move freely in the dance floor.

TANGO INTERMEDIATE I, II, III, & IV
Prerequisite: Beginner II, or equivalent
These classes are for students who finished their beginner classes and would like to continue their studying.
We will introduce the fundamental structural elements of Argentine Tango, as well as continue to work on pivoting, disassociation, well-balanced walking, and front and back ochos. Focus is on improving connection, communication, and musicality.
In Intermediate II and beyond we will focus on more details of the ocho cortado and turns (molinets/giros). Understanding these structural elements, students will develop an improvisational and more personal dance, not just like memorizing steps. We will work on experimenting and creating personal and natural combinations of steps.

TANGO ADVANCED I, II, III, & IV
Prerequisite: Intermediate IV or equivalent
These classes are for students who finished all their Intermediate level classes (or have equivalent experience) and would like to continue to bring their dancing in to a more advanced level.
Using a more analytical approach, we will continue to introduce new exercises to bring your technique to a more advance level, as well as working on developing your improvisational skills, and sense of connection and musicality.
