Bulent Karabagli is a new generation tango dancer and teacher whose style strongly reflects the traditional roots of tango. He makes his home in Montreal and for 10 years has participated in its rich and reputable tango scene. His passion for the dance has also taken him to Argentina and Europe to study with many inspiring teachers. Bulent has become well known for his innovative and improvisational approach to tango as well as his fine sense of musicality and elegance. Bulent also brings to his dancing an extensive background as a visual artist. His paintings and drawings express vibrant colour, simplicity and lyricism of line, humor and the human form. His artistic maturity is now informing his tango. Drawing from these diverse and creative explorations he generously shares his knowledge with students of every level. As a teacher he stresses the importance of investigating the structural foundation of tango, making good contact and communicating clearly, moving smoothly between open and close embrace and developing musical timing. With a keen grasp of these basic elements the dance partners can then find the ease and freedom to bring complexity to their floorcraft and develop their improvisational skills. Bulent likes to encourage in his students, the sensitivity and confidence needed to experiment with tango. The dance becomes more than its steps. The dance becomes creative communication. In addition to teaching Bulent enjoys dj'ing and hosting regular and popular Milongas in Montreal. The music is a cutting-edge mix of alternative and traditional tango, the atmosphere is heartfelt and the dancing is first rate.

GIGGIO IS A YOUNG EXPONENT OF A GENERATION OF ARTISTS WHOSE MAIN FEATURE IS THE UNION OF MANY DISCIPLINES.
HE LIVED IN ARGENTINA UNTIL HE WAS 6. THAN HE MOVED TO BRASIL, WHERE HE STARTED HIS STUDIES OF TANGO AT THE AGE OF 14. THAT WAS WHEN HE BECAME NORBERTO 'PULPO' EZBRES STUDENT, WITH WHOM HE STARTED TO WORK AS INSTRUCTOR A FEW MONTHS LATER.
AFTER THAT FOR THE NEXT 6 YEARS HE DEVELOPED HIS OWN APPROACH TO TANGO BASED IN IMPROVISATON AND COMUNICATION WITH EMPHASIS IN PHISICAL AWARENESS DISCIPLINES.
THE LACK OF TANGO REFERENCES AND THE SEARCH FOR HIS TRUE ARTISTIC IDENTITY DROVE HIM BACK TO BUENOS AIRES TO LEARN DIRECTLY FROM THE SOURCE.
THERE HE BECAME A PART OF CETA (TANGO ART EXPERIMENTAL CENTER) WHERE HE, AMONG OTHER INNOVATING DANCERS OF HIS GENERATION, CREATED ONE OF THE FIRST ELECTRONIC TANGO SHOWS: 'RESURRECCION URBANA'.
IN THE LAST YEARS HE HAS TRAVELLED TEACHING AND PERFORMING THROUGH EUROPE AND ASIA. |
Marcelo 'El Chino' Guitterez

Marcelo, better known as El Chino is one of the new talents of tango combining an angelical and demonical dance style.
Marcelo has studied tango since 1998 with The Dinzel, Nito and Elba , The Rivarola, Teresa Fernández (Todaro system) and Victor Arne.
He studied a Dance and Choreography at IUNA (Intituto Universitario Nacional de Arte – Buenos Aires ) for 4 years where he achieved a solid, professional training in choreography, Russian and French Classical Dance, modern dance, jazz and yoga.
El Chino is performing in Buenos Aires and all over Europe since 2001. He was part of the BAJOFONDO first shows in Buenos Aires and in many tango dinner shows as SABOR A TANGO, ESQUINA HOMERO MANZI. In Theatres as BERGAMO, MALMÖ FESTIVAL, ARGENTINO DE LA PLATA and COLON of Buenos Aires.
Macelo is teaching in Buenos Aires since 2004 in tango schools as TANGO BRUJO, COPELLO TANGO SCHOOL and his speciality is the ability to transmit complicated body sensation in a comprehensible and accessible way to his students.
Marcelo magnetizes the attention of the tango scene in Buenos Aires, and is elected by young professionals teachers and dancers to help them enhance creativity in their Tango and develop their skills.
With a solid international experience Marcelo Gutierrez comes with a new way to embrace the tango, to enjoy it not only as a Dance but also as a Piece of Art.

Après avoir obtenu un baccalauréat en danse contemporaine, Céline s’est découvert une passion pour le yoga qui l'a amenée à vivre en Inde pour étudier avec Sri K. Pattabhi Jois. Depuis, elle a complété la formation de professeur avancée de Richard Freeman et étudié avec de nombreux maîtres de traditions différentes.
De nombreuses années de pratique intensive et d'enseignement font d’elle un professeur qui sait s’adapter aux besoins de chacun tout en communiquant son amour et sa connaissance du yoga. Elle aborde le corps comme un lieu privilégié de rencontre avec soi et de découverte de ses énergies créatrices.
Céline danse le tango depuis 2005. Elle y a retrouvé le plaisir de danser mais aussi celui d'être dans une relation de sensibilité et d'écoute. La méditation qu'elle pratique depuis plusieurs années lui a fait découvrir dans le tango une pratique de présence et d'attention au corps. |

À l'âge de 7 ans, Élaine débute une formation en ballet classique (Cecchetti) qui s’échelonne sur une période de 25 ans. Son adolescence est marquée par un programme sport-études en gymnastique d'où découlent compétitions ainsi que formations pour entraîneur et juge, tenues par la Fédération de gymnastique du Québec (FGQ). S’enchaîne un entraînement professionnel en danse où les techniques jazz (Lynn Simonson) et modernes (Martha Graham, José Limon, et Merce Cunningham) intègrent sa formation classique. En alternance avec les écoles privées, Élaine fait son D.E.C. en danse et obtient son baccalauréat en 1996, en création-interprétation.

Originaire de Sherbrooke (QC), Élaine transite à Montréal pour faire son D.E.C. en danse. Elle emménage ensuite à Toronto pour entamer ses études universitaires à York University tout en étant interprète pigiste. Élaine s’installe définitivement à Montréal en 1989 où elle complète son baccalauréat en création-interprétation, et joint la compagnie Cas Public. En tant qu’artiste de la scène, Élaine tourne dans plusieurs villes du Québec, de l'Ontario et dans certains pays d'Europe (France, Italie, Hongrie, Écosse).
Interprète - Chorégraphe - Professeur - Répétitrice - Évaluateur artistique
De 1987 à 1997, les contrats professionnels sur scène, le petit et le grand écran se succèdent. Depuis 2001 jusqu’à aujourd’hui, Élaine intervient dans le milieu de la gymnastique artistique féminine en tant que professeur, chorégraphe et évaluateur artistique pour la FGQ, et démarre, en 2004, son entreprise de services chorégraphiques les Créations Dimahi, enr. Elle y conçoit et dirige des programmes d'entraînement en danse adaptés à divers milieux (sportifs, culturels, industrie de la mode, etc.), compose des chorégraphies pour gymnastes, danseurs et artistes de cirque, donne des ateliers et agit à titre de répétitrice.
Son plus récent coup de cœur : le tango argentin qu'elle découvre en janvier 2008. Jusqu'à ce jour, les cours en groupe, en privé et ateliers intensifs s’enchaînent. Sa vie privée et professionnelle gravitent désormais autour de ce nouveau centre d’intérêt. Elle répond aujourd’hui à des demandes d’ateliers en interprétation et de cours techniques, provenant de la communauté du tango qui désire bénéficier de son expérience.
